Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.91%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.91%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which rose 10.00% or 4.70 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Development Co. (TADAWUL:2130) added 8.98% or 2.55 points to end at 30.95 and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) was up 7.42% or 1.36 points to 19.68 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290), which fell 3.26% or 1.05 points to trade at 31.15 at the close. Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) declined 2.86% or 0.95 points to end at 32.25 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) was down 2.11% or 3.60 points to 167.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 215 to 109 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) rose to all time highs; up 10.00% or 4.70 to 51.70.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.41% or 0.29 to $70.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.30% or 0.22 to hit $74.01 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 2.04 to trade at $2,633.94 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 3.92, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 107.63.
